SLAC’s LSST Camera will explore cosmic mysteries as part of the NSF–DOE Vera C. Rubin Observatory’s Legacy Survey of Space and Time. Individual imaging sensors and supporting electronics of the LSST Camera’s focal plane are packaged into units, called “rafts,” each containing nine sensors that will produce the images.
