Our nearly 1,700 employees work in the foothills overlooking Stanford University and the communities of Palo Alto and Menlo Park. Here, scientists, engineers, technicians and support professionals work together to conduct world-class research in high-energy physics, X-ray science, structural biology, chemistry, materials and energy sciences, advanced accelerator physics and particle astrophysics/cosmology.
Final candidates, with the exception of staff scientists, are subject to background checks before starting work at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Internal candidates who are selected for hire may require degree verification and/or credit checks based on the requirements of the new position.
